Singing is fun and at WestSide Stage School our
singing classes cater for Students of all abilities and standards. Working with
our specialist singing teachers, all our students are introduced to singing in
a positive enjoyable learning atmosphere. The aim is for our students to gain
confidence and achieve their full singing potential.
We aim to maximise the potential in every
student’s singing voice. By using the most up-to-date, internationally
recognised teaching methods we can work on improving tone, quality versatility
and range. We provide students with the technical skills and knowledge to be
able to successfully sing in an array of vocal styles with the maximum of ease
in order to ensure that optimum vocal health is maintained.
The aim for our singing classes is to provide a
safe, fun and supportive environment which encourages students to sing
confidently and effectively perform songs across a broad spectrum of singing
styles. Not only will students gain some technical singing knowledge but they
will also learn a host of other skills such as effective audition technique,
how to expand and develop their song repertoire and basic music theory so that
they can navigate through a vocal score. Students will also learn the
importance of dramatic context and the art of storytelling through song.
Students are invited to audition for our London College of Music Examination Classes *. If successful, they will be offered one of the limited number of places available. Annually each student will progress up through each exam level working towards the Diploma Qualification.
If a student wishes to pursue a career in the performance industry or wishes to sing recreationally you can be assured that at WestSide Stage School we make certain that we provide all the ingredients to help every Student enjoy the process of learning how to Sing so that they can do so to the best of their ability.
Classes run separately to Stage School classes and require an additional fee.
