Dublin Casting for Child Role

I’m writing to you from an Irish production company called Tilted Pictures and we’re producing an Irish Film Board short film called Doghouse.

It’s the comic story of a day in the life of a hapless Dad who needs to grow up and his smart child who might be able to help with that, written and to be directed by Morgan Bushe (IFTA nominated Best Short, Silver Star Galway Film Fleadh, winner Best Short Celtic Film and Televsion Awards If I Should Fall Behind, Best of Fest Cork Film Festival Mr. Crocodile in the Cupboard). His producing credits include The Other Side of Sleep which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, Circus Fantasticus that was longlisted for this year’s Best Foreign Film Oscar and Colony which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival, was IFTA nominated for Best Documentary and won the First Appearance Award at the IDFA.

We are currently casting for the role of the child in the story. We are interested in seeing both boys and girls between the ages of 8 and 12. We would love if you could please pass the word on to your students' parents and ask them to get in touch by e-mail if their children are interested in auditioning.

We will be auditioning in Fastnet Films, 75-76 Camden St. Lr., Dublin 2 next Monday Feb. 20 and Tuesday 21  from 3.30pm until 7.30pm.
(Directions:  Fastnet Films opposite Green19 between barber and phone shop)

Any interested parents should please email stephen@tiltedpictures.ie so that we can schedule a specific time for the audition.
